1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using The Prior ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
The Prior provides personalized daily intelligence briefings delivered via email, based on focus areas and preferences you configure during onboarding.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service.
4. Accounts and Registration
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You agree to provide accurate information during registration and to keep it current.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
5. Subscription and Payment
- Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis via Stripe.
- All fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law.
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers will be notified via email.
- Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of your account.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Share your account credentials or briefing content for commercial redistribution.
- Use the Service to collect data about other users.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service or its underlying infrastructure.
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
7. Content and Accuracy
- Briefings are generated using AI and aggregated from third-party sources. They are provided for informational purposes only.
- We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any content.
- Nothing in the Service constitutes financial, investment, legal, or professional advice.
8. Intellectual Property
- The Service, its design, and its underlying software are owned by the operator of The Prior and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
- You retain ownership of any preferences, configurations, or inputs you provide. By submitting them, you grant us a limited license to use them to operate the Service.
9. Termination
- You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
- We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without notice.
10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 3 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
